When House Marik attempted to confiscate mercenary 'Mechs in the aftermath of the fighting, [[McFinney's Manglers]], her mercenary unit and the nucleus of what was to become [[Snord's Irregulars]] rallied disgruntled mercenaries and fought their way off-world.
