Lawrence Sawyer was the Communication Officer of Lamenkov's Liability in 3085.

History
He was born on Bordon. During the Jihad he was rescued from a prison camp on Genoa and swiftly redeemed himself and piloted a Jenner for the resistance during much of the Jihad with a service record neither impressive nor with major demerits, which marked him as a reliable asset.

Shortly after the formation of the Republic he served as a company communications officer, when he was red-flagged by a medical officer who cited numerous "unresolved and unaddressed traumatic stress factors" from the Jihad and recommended intense psychotherapy. Though that was not exactly correct and indeed caused by a disgruntled medical officer, Sawyer did benefit from counseling, though that could have been done even in conjunction of his duties.

Though it kept him off active duty for nearly a year, it seems he has taken the matter in stride.

Chosen by General Belle Lee to act as the communication officer of the Errant Force Lamenkov's Liability, he was also deputized by Ilyena Lamenkov to take on the majority of administrative duties.

He saw action with the unit in Schedar during 3085 against the Schedar Enlightenment and Liberation Force, an operation were his 'Mech was savaged by presighted artillery.
