During the [[First Combine-Dominion War]], Katrina commanded the Second Regulars during the invasion of [[Kiamba]] and decimated the defending [[Fourth Pesht Regulars]] after her ''[[batchall]]'' was refused. On 16 December [[3062]], Katrina was on an inspection tour of [[New Buzen City]] when a reduced [[company]] of Fourth Regulars commanded by ''[[Tai-i]]'' [[Kiro Shinada]] ambushed her [[Star (Formation)|Star]]. Although Shianda's men correctly gauged that the Regulars' inspection tour was designed to lure them out of hiding, the [[Draconis Combine]] warriors still chose to engage Katrina's [[BattleMechs]] in an attempt to restore honor to their defeated unit. Ultimately, the Ghost Bears suffered moderate losses in the battle but all of Shinada's 'Mechs were eliminated.
