The Hydra was a Colossus-class DropShip in service with the Federated Suns' First Ceti Hussars during the 3140s.<br />
<br />
==History==<br />
The Hydra was one of the DropShips which transported the First Ceti Hussars from Elbar to David, as part of a reprisal raid against the Draconis Combine's First Ghost Regiment, during the 3140s. Following the successful raid however, disaster struck on the return journey to Elbar, with a Misjump most likely caused by the combination of a faulty K-F Boom on the Star Lord-class JumpShip the Hydra was travelling with and the Pirate point it used within the David system. <br />
<br />
This accident resulted in the loss of the Hydra with all hands, including close to half of the First Ceti Hussars.<br />
