Margolis participated in the Combine's successful conquest of the [[Federated Suns]]' world of [[Palmyra]] with the Seventh in 3144, known as the [[Palmyra Disaster]], before moving with them to reinforce the assault on [[Tsamma]]. After further fighting in that campaign, Margolis and the Seventh were pulled back to [[Kesai IV]], where they were located as of 3145. Margolis was a recipient of the [[Bushido Blade]], for her stalwart actions during the conquest of Palmyra in 3144.<ref name=FM3145p55></ref> Her conspicuous gallantry during this campaign included an incident where she and her her adjutant ''[[Sho-sa]]'' [[Gerber Junco]] were separated from her Command [[Company]] in a brutal thunderstorm, and while sheltering under a rock shelf, observed a column of heavy [[Combat vehicle|armor]] from the [[First Federated Suns Lancers]] seeking the bypass the Combine's position in order to recapture the city of Sawle.
