As of [[3051]] the Hangmen Cooperative had suffered a series of defeats against the [[Silver Dragon Stables]], a down-slide from which many observers questioned if they could recover. The Hangmen doggedly hung on as their warriors desperately struggled to repair their heavily damaged [[BattleMech]]s and avoid starvation.<ref name="SOLARISGMBp23"/><br />

Ultimately the Hangmen could struggle no more and agreed to be absorbed into the [[Renegades Cooperative]] in [[3061]], the merger allowing the Renegades to regain its footing and rise up the Solaris rankings, if only briefly.<ref name=MPSVII-28/><br />
