During the [[FedCom Civil War]], Halperin would join up with [[Jepso's Jaguars]] under the assumed name of "Jane." She was able to infiltrate as an independent MechWarrior looking to secure employment amongst the garrison force of the city of Hammond. Soon after the Bloodhands arrived in force outside the city walls. and Halperin isolated the garrison commander's ''[[Quickdraw]]'' from the rest of his lance. As before she turned on him and quickly eliminated him. With their commander dead, Hammond's defenses quickly crumbled and the Bloodhands stormed the city, killing more than two thousand civilians and slaughtering the entire Hammond Defense Force. <br />
