In [[3069]], Dieter was part of a small group of Wolf's Dragoons resistance fighters against the [[Word of Blake]] occupation of [[Outreach]]. His unit operated out of the wreckage of the city of [[Am Numsan]] on the continent of [[Romulus (continent)|Romulus]]. Meanwhile, the [[mercenary]] unit [[Butler's Brigands]], under the employ of the Word of Blake, would send out a [[company]] sized force to root out the rebels around Am Numsan.
