On Wallis the [[First Oriente Hussars]] faced off against the [[Thirty-first Regulan Hussars]]. Regulan forces fell back into the narrow confines of the [[Ronin Incorporated]] industrial complex with Oriente forces following behind them. As is common in city fighting, the factories became a bloodbath for both forces though eventually the Regulans retreated. [[Corporal]] [[Jakob Denny]], an Oriente scout, was able to loop around the Regulans and disable three retreating [[BattleMech]]s. The damaged production lines made [[Emris IV]] even more strategically important for the Regulans, which was in turn damaged by the [[Steel Wolves]]. In January [[3147]] [[Clan Sea Fox]] instituted an economic interdiction on several Regulan systems, including Wallis which only lifted 22 March [[3148]], but the damage had already been done.
