The '''BattleTech Map Editor''' was one of the first software programs created to allow the players to design their own ''[[BattleTech]]'' maps. The program included several Tilesets that could be added to create new hex types. It allowed for the creation of user defined tiles that could then be imported to the editor to enrich user's experience.<br />
