[[Star Colonel]] Anton and the Second Bear Regulars were stationed on [[Jabuka]] in 3140 when [[Clan Jade Falcon]]'s [[53rd Battle (Clan Jade Falcon)|Fifty-third Battle]] [[Cluster]] attacked the planet. Anton was able to coordinate all of his [[Trinary|Trinaries]] with his [[BattleMech]]'s advanced communications equipment but the fighting soon stagnanated as the battle moved onto the difficult terrain surrounding Squaw Bay. While leading his command [[Star (Formation)|Star]] from a forward position, Anton became so engrossed with the effort of coordinating the Second Regulars that he failed to notice a pair of Falcon ''[[Naga (OmniMech)|Nagas]]'' moving into [[artillery]] range on the far side of the bay. Although none of his command 'Mechs were outright destroyed when the enemy machines made themselves known by shelling his location, Anton had no troops in reserve to handle the enemy artillery and chose to lead his Star across the bay in order to engage with and eliminate the ''Nagas''.
