==History==<br />
Akikaze was a Hannibal-class DropShip serving with the Seventh Ghost Regiment as of 3150. As such, it was part of the invasion force that struck Emporia, arriving in-system with the JumpShip Shirauki on 3 April 3150. Pretending to be a military escort vessel for a group of merchant DropShips, the Akikaze was the first of the invading DropShips to touch down. It deployed two infantry platoons who proceeded to capture the starport (manned by a nighttime skeleton crew) before an alarm could be raised.<br />
