After the merging of the Republic into the Ghost Bear Dominion, Clan Ghost Bear would by [[3074]] reorganize the KungsArmé into a new Clan oriented military fighting force. The regiment had been reduced to a [[battalion]] size unit and tweaked into a Clan Cluster. During the 2nd Kavalleri's reorganization as a Clan Ghost Bear second-line force, many of its original members would undertake a series of [[Trial of Position|Trials of Position]] to retain their place in the Cluster. ===Ice Hellion Raid of Damian===
In early [[3076]], Clan Ice Hellion assaulted the world of [[Damian]] after series of raids through the Ghost Bear Dominion. The 2nd Kavalleri's aerospace fighter elements forced the Hellion DropShips to ground themselves. Despite being understrength, the Kavalleri's ground and aerospace fighters conducted a series of hit and run attacks on Clan Ice Hellion warriors in an attempt to keep them pinned down until reinforcements could arrive. In course of the fighting the forest the battle was occurring in was set ablaze, and the Kavalleri were taken apart by Hellion forces. In [[3080]], the Second Kavalleri were stationed on [[Grumium]] when it came under attack from a [[Word of Blake]] [[Shadow Division]] [[Level III]]. The fighting cost the Second a third of its strength and [[Grumium Creations]]' mothballed ''[[Crockett]]'' production line was smashed before the Blakists were forced to withdraw. In [[3100]], the Second was posted to [[Trondheim (FRR)|Trondheim]]. During the [[Second Combine-Dominion War]] the Draconis Combine dispatched the [[11th Ghost]] regiment, supported by the WarShip, DCS ''[[Draconis Rift]]'' in an attempt to take the planet. When the Eleventh landed, the Second, who were holding defensive positions near the capital city's spaceport, sent a request for reinforcements to [[Rasalhague]].
