The [[Eighth Rasalhague Regulars]] and [[Twelfth Sun Zhang Academy Cadre]] refused to accept the establishment of the [[Free Rasalhague Republic]] in March [[3034]] and went rogue, traveling to the [[Predlitz]] system because it was very pro-[[Draconis Combine|Combine]].<ref name=H:BWp105>''Historical: Brush Wars'', p. 105: "Predlitz"</ref> The [[First Tyr]] and [[Second Sword of Light]] pursued them, and after two months of fighting between June and August, were able to force the ''ronin'' to surrender. Half of the First Tyr was then sent to Gunzburg to settle things there.<ref name=H:BWp115>''Historical: Brush Wars'', p. 115: "Predlitz"</ref>

Near the end of the war in September 3034, the ''ronin'' 211th Mechanized Assault Command ambushed [[Tor Miraborg]]'s command lance. Having them outflanked and in deep trouble, the First Tyr called for assistance from the nearby [[Dragon's Breath (Mercenary Command)|Dragon's Breath]] [[mercenary]] unit, but they had sustained heavy damage of their own and opted to remain out of the fighting citing a clause in their contract. The 211th's [[Von Luckner]] tanks took out Miraborg's lance, with Miraborg's ''[[Grasshopper]]'' the last to go down. A stream of tracers clipped his ejection seat and sent him crashing into the trees.<ref name=H:BWp97/>

[[Nicole Kelswa]] and the [[Gotterdammerung Society]] took the capital of Gunzburg on behalf of her uncle and the [[Tamar Pact]]. With the remnants of the First Tyr in hiding after their defeat by the 211th Mechanized Assault Command, Kelswa turned her attention to defeating the ''ronin'' forces, landing a huge blow and forcing them to fall back to the Bavaria Mountains. She then mobilized the entirety of the Society and [[Kelswa Guard]] to move in on their position, looking to finish them off.<ref name=MW5M/>

Aware the First Tyr would be next if they waited, they moved to attack the 211th and Lyrans knowing their munitions would be stretched thin in a three-way fight. As the battle began to dissolve into chaos, Kelswa arrived to support her troops and try to eliminate the First Tyr herself, only to meet her end as the Tyr concentrated fire on her command 'Mech. The Kelswa Guards were all defeated, the 211th ''ronin'' surrendered, and the Gotterdammerung Society were in full retreat.<ref name=MW5M/>
