The '''151st Royal BattleMech Division ''' was a part of the [[Star League Defense Force]] Regular Army. It was one of the [[Star League Defense Force Royal Divisions|SLDF's Royal units]], which consisted of troops from the [[Terran Hegemony]].

==History==
In [[2764]], the unit was assigned, as a part of the [[XII Corps (Star League)|XII Corps]], [[9th Army (Star League)|Ninth Army]], to District 2 of the [[Free Worlds League Military Region]], but was moved to an undisclosed area of the [[Periphery]].<ref name=SL142>''The Star League'', p. 142, "Ninth"</ref>

The 151st participated in the Canopian campaign, and during the assault on [[Terra]], they lost nearly a third of their troops. Their commanding officer, Lauren Hayes, was a staunch critic of the [[Operation Exodus|exodus]] plan saying it was abandoning the ideals of the Star League.
