The Western Orbital Defense Network or WODeN, was a series of satellites and at least one space station put into low [[Terra|Earth]] orbit by the [[United States of America|United States]] and Japan, for defensive purposes.

==History==
The Space Defense Initiative (SDI) was a joint venture between the United States and Japan, started in [[1994]].  The project was later renamed the Western Orbital Defense Network.

In [[2007]], [[Crippen Station]] became the central command for the Western Orbital Defense Network.
