==About==
I've been around the BattleTech fandom and setting for about four and a half years now, and I'm still fascinated by it. My gaming experiences regarding it have been limited thus far to the 2018 ''BattleTech''. Both ''MechWarrior Online'' and ''MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries'' were both disappointing in their different ways; still, ''BattleTech'' 2018 is fun and I'm seriously considering getting the BattleTech Advanced mod.

I find it amusing that the Rim Worlds Republic military was the only military in the setting that not only has an explicit Brigadier General rank, but actually puts Lieutenant General where it belongs (that is, below general and above Major General (which, in turn, comes from Sergeant Major General), though they do not have the Major General rank).

==Editing Focus/Projects==
Not much of one, but at the moment I'm focusing my efforts on expanding Rim Worlds Republic articles, since it seems like some of those haven't been updated in a long while. I admit I have a bit of a fondness for the RWR, even if from the simple fact that for such an important historical entity they don't actually have much written about them.

I'm also starting to ponder about starting to add sub-categories to the noble houses main category to divide them up by state rather than only just chucked into one category; that way, if you're looking for noble houses in, say, the Free Worlds League, you can simply go to that category.
