The '''Trondheim Prefecture''' was one of the administrative regions that comprised the [[Rasalhague Military District]] of the [[Draconis Combine]].<ref name="HK(TDC)p97">''House Kurita (The Draconis Combine)'', p. 97 "RASALHAGUE"</ref>

In [[3025]], the Trondheim Prefecture's Prefect was keeping his prefecture free of great military influence, and concentrating on promoting [[Idlewind]] as a center for trade with the Periphery. The Kurita government was quite amenable to the idea, but most Periphery traders were still uncomfortable about entering Kurita space for extensive negotiations.<ref name="HK(TDC)p97"/>
