:It's mentioned in the MAC sourcebook, although not in great detail. It seems Archie McCarron set up MTC for black market arms dealing but it grew into a real trading enterprise and eventually, when the MAC received land grants in the CC (esp. :The manufacturers page lists all production on all planets. This is specific to those companies MTC has access to.
