The '''Ryuken-nana''' regiment were created in the [[Dark Age]] era, modeled after the other ''Ryuken'' who were created to be trained and adopt the tactics of the [[Wolf's Dragoons]] [[mercenary unit]]. 

== History ==
The newly formed Ryuken-nana, or ''Ryuken Seven'' in japanese, distinguished themselves alongside the [[Seventh Sword of Light]] and [[Eighth Sword of Light]] in the assault on [[Robinson]] during the invasion of the [[Federated Suns]]. Where they pinned the [[Robinson Battle Academy Training Battalion]] on the academy grounds and destroyed them. Though other units left a larger scar on Robinson, the Ryuken-nana lost nearly half of their BattleMechs, and only a company remains of their armor regiment.<ref name=FM3145p60>''Field Manual: 3145'', p. 61 "Ryuken-nana"</ref>

== Tactics ==
Highly mobile unit tactics, based on teachings of [[Wolf's Dragoons]]. The conventional forces are set in prebattle position for ambushes and rear attacks when the time is right. Combined arms warfare is used with great efficiency.
