In April 3059, Pierce served in the Support Star of Burrow Binary within the 82nd Burrock Guards during the Clan Blood Spirit attack on the world of Albion. The Spirits initial attack surprised and drove the Burrock's back, but the Burrocks then launched a counter attack that took advantage of the Spirits divided forces. The Burrock Guards destroyed one Star while driving off the another.

The attempt to seize the supply depot failed and helped hasten the defeat of the Blood Spirits invasion.
