Prince [[Victor_Steiner-Davion|Victor Davion]] has triumphed over his sister, Princess [[Katherine_Steiner-Davion|Katrina Steiner]], bringing to an end the bloody fight for the two largest realms in the [[Inner Sphere]].  In a move that many found shocking, Victor did not claim the throne of the remaining half of the [[Federated Commonwealth]] for himself, but has instead reinstated his younger sister Duchess [[Yvonne Steiner-Davion]] as regent.  With their brother, Prince [[Peter Steiner-Davion]] sitting on the throne of the [[Lyran Alliance]] break-off state at [[Tharkad]], the former [[Federated Commonwealth]] remains split, albeit peacefully for the time being.  Public opinion on the fate of Katrina Steiner remains divided to such a degree that her future is anything but certain.  Neither of the newly placed heads of state has mentioned any decision on her fate.
