During a disastrous battle on [[Ingersoll]] in [[3016]] where the Hussars were surrounded by a [[House Marik]] [[regiment]], unit CO Major [[Michael Langstrom]] ordered the ''Katya'' to their rescue. Enemy fighters crippled the DropShip's altitude jets during descent, however, and it crashed right into the Hussars' position, destroying half the unit.<ref>''Mercenary's Handbook'', p. 93</ref>
