By [[3069]] Baughman was the commanding officer of the [[28th Division (Word of Blake)|Twenty-eighth Division]]. Baughman led his division against [[Ascella]] and achieved a rapid victory without resorting to orbital strikes or strategic weapons releases. Subsequently, in October of the same year, Baughman presided over the raid on [[Buckminster]], where his division's orbital forces helped to destroy the [[7th Amphigean Light Assault Group]] - as well as several cities. After elements of the [[Wolf Dragoons]] were relocated to Buckminster in the aftermath of this attack, Baughman's division returned in 3070 supported by the [[45th Shadow Division]].
