The '''CDS-MHK3 "Mako" Sniper Gyrostabilizer''' is a special type of accessory produced by [[Rorynex Industries]].  Mounted below the barrel of a rifle and employing a variation of gyroscopic stabilizer technology, the Mako counteracts any sudden movements, involuntary or otherwise, on the part of the weapon's user.  Though of little use in compensating for recoil, the system effectively keeps the barrel steady while the rifle is being aimed, improving accuracy over long ranges.
