<!-- Documentation for the status template is at Template:WikiProject status.
     You can add the associate portal, shortcuts, and more information to the banner.

     Adjust this section so that the link, wording, and (often) upper/lower casing of the topic are adjusted, the English-language variety is as intended (e.g. "organisation" or "organization"), and so on. The bulk of the wording should not be altered.

Welcome to WikiProject Infoboxes. Several editors have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving BTW's development and maintenance of BattleIntelligence:Project Infoboxes and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other editors interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please add yourself as a participant in the project, inquire on the talk page, and see the to-do list, below.

What does the project plan to do?
The primary goals of this project are:
-->

Scope
<!--What topics do you plan to cover? If you're dealing with a broad area, it's okay to be a little vague here.-->
The main point of this project is to convert the "infobox" templates into ones that use the Infobox meta-template. This involves having them all:
* Have a common visual style - Makes them look the same and naturally tells the reader what they are.
* Have a common template code base - Allows for easy changes between them for editors of all skill levels to modify them as needed.
* use the Soft divide colors
* Time neutral (as possible)
* Rules neutral (as possible)
* Sementic data for things we think could be useful/interesting

<!--
Project advice
This section is for various kinds of advice regarding topics within the project's scope:

* Default layouts for new articles. Include various categories applicable to the topic.
* Style advice - how to best apply the WP:MOS guideline and its sub-guidelines to this topic area.
* Article titling advice - how to best apply the BTW policy and the naming convention guidelines to this topic area.
* Content-related advice - how to best apply the core BTW content policies and other content policies and guidelines to this topic area.

Do not label this advice a "guideline". WikiProject advice material has the status of an essay.

If this section contains the advice, tag it with WikiProject advice. If it links to separate advice page for some or all of the above, put the template (or one of its more specific variants) at the top of them.

Infoboxes that are proposed but not implemented:
* InfoBoxMilitaryCommand2
* InfoBoxRealPerson2
* InfoBoxFiction

Participants
<!-- Do not change to "Members". WikiProject are not independent membership organizations, but collaborative processes in which editors participate.-->
* Dmon
* Frabby
* Deadfire
* Csdavis715
* Tumult&Travail

<!--
New entries go at the bottom. Typical entry format:
# Name (I am interested in working on...) ~~~~~
Please note that it is "User|" not "User:" and five tildes at the end, not four.
Another way to do it is:
# ~~~ (I am interested in working on...) ~~~~~
with three then five tildes.
-->

Categories
* Templates suitable for conversion to use Template:Infobox - Category for those Infoboxes that need to be changed/converted
* Infobox templates - Main Infobox Category
Templates
<!--
Any templates used by or applicable to the project. (Project banner, infoboxes, navboxes, userboxes, barnstars).

Note that new stub templates should be proposed before creation, at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Stub_sorting/Proposals.

You may find that a talk page assessment template is more useful to you than a stub template (see Category:WikiProject_banners and Wikipedia:WikiProject_Templates for more information)
