Aurigan Royal Guard

| Affiliation | Aurigan Coalition |
| Parent Command | Aurigan Coalition Military |
Surviving through the collapse of the original Coalition, the Aurigan Royal Guard ensured safety from pirates, raiders, and mercenaries in the time that the Coalition rebuilt on Coromodir II. Even retaining some of the original Battlemechs, in time various refits and upgrades have been applied. Through the frequent jumpship travel in the system newer models of Battlemechs and other combined arms machines have been added to the Royal Guard.[1]
History
The Royal Guard was the final military unit on Coromodir VI when the nation collapsed all the way to the walls of Cordia City. They were brought with the Aranos to Coromodir II to ensure the small settlement would not fail to outside causes.[1]

Tactics
Originally during the rebuilding on Coromodir II the Royal Guard became a jack of all trades. With the Leopard dropships they had it became clear that quick strikes and hot-drops would be their best bet to crush any threats to the settlers.
With the Rebuilding of Rampart Battalion and the Aurigan Militia the Royal Guard honed in on fast strikes as their primary skillset while Rampart took on the assault and battle oriented combat roles.[1]
