John Andrew Keith was the younger brother of William H. Keith, Jr.. Both brothers have had BattleTech material published under their respective name; while the bulk of the BattleTech-related publications is credited to William Keith, there was reportedly much cooperation and co-writing between them. For non-BattleTech publications they even shared several pen names. J. Andrew Keith was particularly prolific as an author for the Traveller RPG.
